ODI World Cup 2023 Semi Final Team List
The 2023 World Cup started with a bang with the battle between defending champions England and the previous edition runners-up New Zealand on 5th October at the iconic Narendra Modi stadium. The group stage of the tournament is about to end and India will face the Netherlands in the last match of the pre knockout stage in Bangalore. Among all teams, India has dominated the marquee tournament in all departments and is also leading the point table by winning 8 out of 8 matches and will probably remain unbeaten in the group stage.

The hosts India, are the first team to qualify for the semis in the 2023 World Cup. South Africa became the 2nd team when Bangaldesh beat Sri Lanka in Delhi by 3 wickets. Australia sealed their place in the Super-4 stage after their unbelievable victory over Afghanistan in Mumbai from the verge of a humiliating loss.
The 4th team for the Semi-finals is yet to make it. New Zealand is likely to get the spot as they have won 5 out of 9 matches and has a net run rate of 0.743. On the other hand, Pakistan has to beat England by 287 runs or chase down any total in 2.5 overs to reach the semis. For Afghanistan, the chances of taking the spot is very slim as their NRR is negative.
