      BCCI Announced Squad For Australia T20I Series

      The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced India’s squad for the T20I series against Australia on Monday, 20th November. SuryaKumar Yadav who was a part of the recently concluded 2023 World Cup is all set to lead the Men in Blue in all 5 matches.

      Team India will play their first match of the series in Visakhapatnam on 23rd November and the last game in Bangalore on 3rd December. Ruturaj Gaikwad has been named in the squad along with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, and Rinku Singh. Gaikwad will be the deputy of Surya in the clashes.

      Jitesh Sharma who made his debut in the 2023 Asian Games has also joined the team as a wicket-keeper. However, World Cup 2023 runner-up Ishan Kishan will also be seen in action after warming the bench in 9 WC games.

      The all-rounders in the teams are Shivam Dubey, Washington Sundar, and experienced Axar Patel. While Arshdeep Singh will spearhead the fast bowling unit consisting of Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, and Mukesh Kumar. Rajasthani leggie Ravi Bishnoi is the only specialist spinner in the team this time.

      Middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer will join the team for the the 4th and 5th T20 in Raipur.
