      Chris Gayle’s highest score in IPL is 175* off 66 balls against Pune Warriors India in IPL 2013 at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

      Chris Gayle is probably the greatest ever batsman to play the T20 format. His power-hitting and no-defense game set him apart from others when came to the international arena in 1999. Having made his debut in T20I in 2006 against New Zealand, Gayle scored 1899 runs in 79 T20Is at an impressive strike rate of 137.5. He became the first centurion in T20Is upon scoring a ton in the first game of the 2007 T20 World Cup against South Africa. Gayle was a part of the West Indies team which won the 2012 and 2016 T20 World Cup.

The ace batsman hit seventeen 6s and thirteen 4s in his knock to take RCB’s score to 263 after 20 overs at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. In reply, Pune only managed to score 133 runs and lost the match by a huge margin of 130 runs. Gayle’s 175* is the highest score in the T20 format to date.

      Chris Gayle was a T20 run machine, I don’t think anybody able to break his records.
