      Ellyse Perry Became Most Capped Australian Player

      Ellyse Perry became the most-capped Australian player in Women’s ODIs during the first ODI of Australia Women’s tour of Bangladesh 2024 in Dhaka on 21st March. Perry eclipsed former Australian batsman Alex Blackwell to achieve the feat.

      Most Capped Australian Player

      The classy all-rounder played her 145th game today and Blackwell finished her ODI career with 144 games. Perry overall became the player to play seventh-most ODIs in women’s cricket. She scored 2 runs in today’s game but bowled a superb spell of four overs, conceding only five runs with one maiden over.

      Most Capped Australian Player

      Overall, The New South Wales cricketer has scored 3896 runs and claimed 163 wickets in 145 games. She has also been a part of 2013 and 2022 World Cup-winning Australian women’s team.
