Yashasvi Jaiswal

The upcoming star of the Indian cricket team, Yashasvi Jaiswal holds the record for the fastest 50 in IPL history. In a group match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, the Southpaw went berserk on the hosts’ bowlers and accomplished the feat in just 13 balls. He remained not out at 98 in 47 balls in the end and helped his team to chase the 150-run target within 13.1 overs.

KL Rahul

The 2nd place on the premium list of the fastest 50 in IPL belongs to former Punjab Kings skipper KL Rahul. It was the 2nd match of IPL 2018 against Delhi Capitals in Mohali. Getting to bat first, DC set a modest target of 167 runs on board. Then captain KL Rahul started charging the bowlers for fun from the first ball itself and hit a fifty in only 14 balls, lacing with 6 fours and 4 sixes. His brisk innings propelled the home side to win the game by six wickets.

Pat Cummins

During the 2022 IPL, Australian all-rounder Pat Cummins smashed a fifty in a mere 14 balls against Mumbai Indians in Pune. KKR was chasing a decent total of 162 runs and coming to bat at no.7, Cummins clobbered 4 fours and 6 sixes, including 35 runs against Daniel Sam in the 16th over. He leveled KL Rahul on that day who also took as many deliveries to reach his 50 four years ago.

Yusuf Pathan and Sunil Narine

Yusuf Pathan and Sunil Narine both completed their fifty in just 15 balls in IPL, they are the 5th fastest to do so. Pathan achieved the feat against SRH in 2014 while Narine reached the landmark against RCB in 2017.
