KeymasterFastest Fifty In Test
Former Pakistani captain Mishbah Ul Haq scored the fastest fifty in tests during the 2nd match of the Australia tour of UAE in 2014 in Abu Dhabi. He achieved the feat in just 21 balls on a flat wicket against a mighty bowling lineup that consisted of Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc, Peter Siddle, Nathan Lyon, etc.
Charismatic Aussie opener David Warner once hit a test fifty against Pakistan in a mere 23 balls in Sydney in 2017, the 2nd quickest fifty in the test. Despite bowlers like MD Amir, Wahab Riaz, and Yasir Shah, the Southpaw wreaked havoc on the visitors and eventually made 113 off 96 balls with the help of 17 fours.
Former South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis gets 3rd place on the elite list of fastest fifty in test. In a test match against Zimbabwe in 2005, the ace batsman reached the halfway mark in just 24 balls. His record stood tall for nine years until Misbah shattered it in 2014.
