Former Kiwi captain Brendon McCullum tops the list of highest individual scores in the T20 World Cup. The wicket-keeper batsman from Otago scored a scintillating 123 off 58 balls against Bangaldesh in Pallekelle during the 2012 edition of the event.
Ex-Caribbean cricketer Chris Gayle made the second-highest individual score in the T20 World Cup in 2007 against South Africa. The Dangerous batsman hit a blitzkrieg of 117 in just 57 balls with the help of 7 fours and 10 sixes. His strike rate was a staggering 205.26.
Former English opening batsman Alex Hales amassed an unbeaten 116 off 64 balls during the 2014 installment of the tournament, the third-highest individual score in the T20 World Cup. Boasting a strike rate of 181.25, he smashed 11 fours and 6 sixes in Chottogram.
