Julian Alvarez’s Transfer News

One of the best strikers in the world currently, Argentine sensation Julian Alvarez is about to be transferred to a Spanish club from his current club Manchester City according to some reliable sources. The 2022-23 Champions League winners have been in discussion with the Spanish club Atletico Madrid for a few days now and they have agreed on a massive transfer fee of 82 million pounds. Atletico will play 64 million pounds upfront and the rest of the amount in add-ons.

Manchester City bought Alvarez from Argentine club River Plate for 14 million pounds in 2022. They will make a huge profit if the deal with Atletico Madrid is finalized.

The 24-year-old versatile striker appeared for Manchester City in 103 matches and netted 36 goals along with 18 assists. He also won two Premier League titles, FA Cup, Champions League, Super Cup, and World Cup titles all in the year 2023.

Alvarez was a part of the recent Copa America-winning Argentina team which beat Columbia in the finals in the USA. He contributed with two goals in the tournament.
