KeymasterLuis Suarez International Goals
Luis Suarez is one of the best footballers of the last era placed in the same bracket as Messi and Ronaldo. He made his international debut in 2007 against Columbia and even received a red card in the 85th minute of the match which Uruguay won by 3-1. The start of his international career was not a sweet one but he scored his first goal for Uruguay against Bolivia in the same year in an exhibition game. Suarez has made himself the leading goal scorer for his country with his acrobatics and skills on the field. In 141 appearances for the national team in 17 years, he has notched up 68 goals, including two hat-tricks.
Despite being a sensational player, Suarez did not have the fortune to lift the coveted World Cup trophy with Uruguay. He played 16 games in the mega event across four editions and scored 7 goals while in Copa America, the striker has netted 7 goals in 15 outings. 21 of his 68 goals came in friendly international matches.
