The captain who led KKR to two IPL triumphs, Gautam Gambhir has scored the most runs for KKR in IPL. Playing 123 games for the Purple and Gold, the Southpaw made 3376 runs at a decent average of 31.25, including 30 fifties. In KKR’s successful campaign in 2012, Gambhir was the highest run-getter for the team with 590 runs in 17 games at an impressive strike rate of 143.55.

Robin Uthappa had a six-year stint with Kolkata from 2014 to 2019. The wicket-keeper batsman amassed 2649 runs at a healthy strike rate of 135.84. He surpassed the fifty-run mark 17 times for them. Uthappa was fortunate to hold the coveted trophy in his first year with KKR as they beat PKBS in the finals of the 2014 IPL to win their 2nd title. His contribution was massive with the bat, winning the Orange Cap for scoring 660 runs in 14 matches.

Andre Russell has probably been one of the most vital cogs of KKR since he joined in 2014. His outrageous power-hitting and impactful seam-bowling always snatches the game from the opponents. Having featured in 117 matches, the Caribbean hard hitter has notched up 2397 runs at a staggering strike rate of 176.25, the highest strike rate by a batsman in the IPL. He does not score many fifties batting down the order but often contributes with quickfire knocks.
