Most Sixes In 20th Over In IPL
The 20th over in a T20 game is vital either a team scores some extra runs to put pressure on the opponent in that over or sometimes they get excessive runs to chase a huge total. So smashing sixes becomes a necessity in the last over. There are very few players who can constantly hit sixes in the 20th over however all the batsmen try to do the same.
The five-time IPL-winning skipper MS Dhoni has hit the most sixes in the 20th over in the IPL. The hard-hitting batter batters tally reads 69 maximums in 330 balls he has faced. No one is close to MS on this unique tally, dictating his dominance over the years.
Former Caribbean all-rounder Kieron Pollard has creamed the second-most sixes in the 20th over in the IPL. He smacked 33 sixes in 189 balls in his 13 years of IPL career.
The third on the elite list is MS Dhoni’s CSK colleague Ravindra Jadeja. The Southpaw has whacked 29 sixes in 171 balls and who can forget his six to the long on in the 19.5 over of the 2023 IPL final when 10 was required off 2 balls? He followed it up with a four and won the game for CSK.
