Indian Premier League is now the most desired cricket league in the world. For the Indians, it gives them the platform to showcase their talent while the overseas players can get an opportunity to earn a big chunk here. IPL was started in 2008 and since then it’s going smoothly and touching new heights in terms of money and standard. Rajasthan Royals lifted the maiden IPL trophy after beating CSK in the finals. In 2009, the coveted trophy got a new holder in the form of Deccan Chargers. Therefore CSK clinched back-to-back trophies in 2010 & 2011 and lifted it three more times in 2018, 2021 & 2023.

He touched the trophy for the first time in 2009 with Deccan Chargers and later led Mumbai to five IPL title victories in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2o19 & 2020. Overall, the Mumbai batsman has won six titles so far.

Ambati Rayudu

Former Indian player Ambati Rayudu has won joint most IPL titles as a player, having lifted it six times. He won his first three trophies with Mumbai Indians in 2013, 2015, and 2017. Then the Hyderabad-born player joined CSK and held the silverware thrice in 2018, 2021, and 2023. Rayudu played a crucial role in winning the 2023 IPL for CSK, scoring 19 off 8 deliveries in the 171-run chase which had to be done in 15 overs.

MS Dhoni

Former Indian World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni gets the third spot on the tally of players with the most wins in IPL. MS has won five titles with CSK, having led them in all triumphs in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, and 2023. His tactical captaincy and aggressive finishes have always helped CSK in their campaigns.
