Rahul Dravid To Rejoin Rajasthan Royals As Head Coach

Former Indian team boss Rahul Dravid is all set to rejoin Rajasthan Royals as their head coach after a glorious ending with the Men in Blue clinching their second T20 World Cup trophy in June in the West Indies and USA. The Karnataka legend served the franchise in 2014 and 2015 too.

Rahul Dravid To Rejoin Rajasthan Royals As Head CoachDravid has been associated with a team since 2014 and has immense experience with the ability of tactics, grooming, and knowledge to make a team, a top side. During the latest stage of his cricket career, Dravid captained Rajasthan Royals in 2012 and 2013. In 2015, BCCI appointed Dravid as the head of all the under-age teams of India and he took over as the superior of NCA in 2019. Under him, India won the U-19 World Cup 2018. Afterward, the legendary batter succeeded Ravi Shastri in 2021 to become the chief of the Indian Cricket Team.

It is also said that RR will rope in the former Indian coach Vikram Rathour for batting coaching for the upcoming 2025 season. Dravid will work closely with their director of cricket Kumar Sangakkara who took over in 2021.

Rajasthan Royals’ journey in the Indian Premier League has been a roller coaster ride. They were the maiden winners of the marquee event in 2008. The Pink Army even made it to the finals in 2022 but lost it to Gujarat. The Sanju Samson-led team was eliminated from the group stage and qualifier respectively in the last two seasons. With Dravid on board, RR can increase their chances of holding the silverware next year like he did wonders for India this year.
