Rajat Patidar Makes Test Debut
Madhya Pradesh batsman Rajat Patidar makes his test debut against England in the 2nd match of the India vs England 2023 test series in Visakhapatnam. Patidar became the 309th player to play test cricket for India.
Last year in the South Africa tour, The classy batsman made his appearance in ODI cricket, and before the series, Rajat smashed two spectacular hundreds in just three innings against England Lions.
Patidar boasts a captivating first-class record, having scored 4000 runs at an impressive average of 45.97. The right-hand batter also has 12 centuries and 22 fifties in his name. The BCCI management decided to rope him in the squad in the absence of injured KL Rahul.
