Ramandeep Singh Made His International Debut For India

Punjab all-rounder Ramandeep Singh made his international debut for India during the third T20 against South Africa on Wednesday in Centurion. The 27-year-old became the 118th player to represent India in the shortest format. He got his cap from ace batting all-rounder Hardik Pandya before the toss.

Ramandeep Singh Made His International Debut For IndiaThe batting all-rounder who impressed the management and spectators with his aggressive strokeplay and acrobatic fielding in the IPL and for India A has been rewarded with the India cap. In the 2024 IPL, Ramandeep got a few chances to bat amid KKR’s top order’s blast in their successful tournament and scored 125 runs in 62 balls while the backward running diving catch against LSG was the Catch of the Season for him.

In the recently concluded Emerging Asia Cup event, Ramandeep scored 94 runs in three innings at 191.83, including a blistering 64 off 34 balls in India’s loss against Afghanistan in the semi-finals. With the ball, he bagged three wickets too.

Given his all-around brilliance, Ramandeep would be a great addition to the Indian T20 setup. He can deliver two overs and smack the bowlers mercilessly in the death overs with his brilliant fielding on display.
