Ravindra Jadeja Became First Player To Have 1000+ Runs, 100+ Wickets, and 100+ Catches In IPL

Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja became the first player to have 1000+ runs, 100+ wickets, and 100+ catches in the IPL during CSK’s clash against KKR at Cheapuk on 9th March 2024. Ravindra Jadeja completed his 100th catch when he grabbed a pull shot from Shreyas Iyer in the mid-wicket off Mustafizur Rahman’s delivery.

Before the game, Jadeja’s catching tally was standing at 98. In the first ball of the game, he plucked a stunner in the point off Tushar Pandey’s ball to send Phil Salt to the pavilion. The Southpaw already has 2776 runs with the bat and 156 wickets with the ball to his name. Today he bowled a superb spell of 3 for 18 to break the spine of KKR middle-order and helped the hosts to restrict them to 137/9 in 20 overs. For his all-round show of three wickets and two catches, Jadeja was rewarded with the Man of the Match award.
