Ravindra Jadeja Completed 300 Wickets In Test

Ace Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja completed 300 wickets in the test during the fourth of the 2nd test match against Bangaldesh in Kanpur on Monday. He became only the 7th Indian to achieve this remarkable feat, reaching the mark in his 74th test match.

Khaled Ahmed was his 300th scalp in test cricket and he got him out by taking a return catch in his ball. That was Jadeja’s only wicket in the innings. Kapil Dev was the first Indian bowler to take 300 wickets in the longest format while the Rajput boy is 3rd spinner from India to make three centuries for India.

Jadeja also became the quickest Indian to achieve a double of 3000 runs and 300 wickets in a test, accomplishing the milestone in only 74 games. At the same time, Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin did the same in 83 and 88 games respectively.

The other Indians to take 300 wickets in tests are Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ravi Ashwin, and Ishant Sharma.
