KeymasterRishabh Pant Hit 107 Meter Six Off Tim Southee In Bangalore
On day 4 of the 1st test between India and New Zealand, Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant hit a 107-meter gigantic six-off Tim Southee in the 87th over at the Chinnaswamy stadium. The charismatic batter was batting on 90 off 99 balls and the visitors opted for the new ball after 80th over. Southee started the 87th over with a bye-four down the leg side and then bowled a short of a good length ball. Afterward, Southee again tried to move the ball into Pant from the round of the wicket but Pant just bent his knee and slog-swept the ball over mid-wicket which went over the roof out of the stadium.

Glenn Phillips and KL Rahul who was on the other end were in awe of that shot against a bowler who has almost 400 test wickets to his name. Just after one over, Rishabh got played down off a sharp inswinging short-of-length delivery by William ORourke on 99, missing his well-deserved century just by 1 run, helping India to take 107 runs lead from the deficit of 356 runs in the 1st innings. Pant whacked five maximums and nine fours in his solid knock.
