Rohit changed his intention entirely in this edition and started attacking the bowlers from the very first ball, aiding him to put pressure on the opponent and give India a flier start in every game. His approach of charging the main bowlers each time turned out to be fruitful when he smashed 29 runs in an over against Starc in the powerplay.
