The Indian wicket-keeper batter from Kerala, Sanju Samson equaled former legendary spinner Shane Warne‘s captaincy record for Rajasthan Royals. During the eliminator game of IPL 2024 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, RR beat the Red Army by four wickets and six balls to spare and with that, Sanju registered his 31st win as captain in the IPL for Rajasthan.

The late Rajasthan skipper Shane Warne led the franchise for four years from 2008 to 2011 in 55 matches and came out victorious in 31 matches.
