Shamar Joseph Joins LSG For IPL 2024
The new West Indian fast bowling sensation Shamar Joseph joined LSG for the IPL 2024. The young promising fast bowler joined the franchise to replace Mark Wood who has pulled out of the 2024 edition of IPL due to an unknown reason.
The Guyanese seamer will receive a whopping INR 3 cr for the season. In the recently concluded test series between Australia and West Indies, Joseph impressed everyone with his lethal pace and tight line length in his debut series. He ended the series with 13 wickets in 2 games with 2 fifers, including the remarkable figure of 7/68 at Gabba which helped Indies to win a test match in Australia after 28 years.
If we talk about his T20 journey, he has been featured in two matches so far and that too for Guyana Amazon Warrior in the Caribbean Premier League 2023. As an electrifying fast bowler, Joseph will produce immense expectations in the fans of LSG and they all will wish him to do well considering his difficult past life.
