The T20 World Cup 2024 will be the ninth edition of the event and it will be hosted by the West Indies and the USA. The United States of America will organize the event for the first time and this makes them an automatic entry. Sixteen matches will be played in the USA across three venues- Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York. and the rest of the 41 games will take place in the West Indies in their six venues. The opening game of the 2024 T20 World Cup will be played between the hosts USA and Canada on 1st June in Dallas. The twenty teams are divided into four groups, containing five teams each. Two teams from every group will make it to the Super Eight stage and then four teams will face each other in the semis.

The most anticipated India vs Pakistan clash will kick off on 9th June at the new Nassau County Stadium in New York while the defending champions England will begin their campaign on the 4th of June against Scotland in Barbados. The two-time title lifters West Indies are returning to the massive tournament after failing to qualify in the previous two editions. The co-hosts will take on PNG on 2nd June in Guyana in their opening game.

The semi-finals will be played on the 26th and 27th of June in Trinidad & Tobago with the final being played in Barbados on the 29th of June. The semi-finals and finals have a reserved day in case of rain or any other interruption.
