He failed to replicate his real potential in his first appearance in the greatest format, having scored 4 runs in the first innings and a toiled 15 off 54 balls in the 2nd innings. Both times Caribbean seamer Fidel Edwards got the edge of Virat Kohli. The elegant right-hand batter hit only three fours in his first outing in tests.
