Former Australian fast bowler, Shaun Tait bowled the fastest ball in the history of IPL. He recorded 157.71 km/hr for Rajasthan Royals against Delhi Capitals in 2011. Former Aussie World Cup-winning captain Aaron Finch faced the thunderous delivery from Tait. It’s been 13 years and the record is still unbroken. Injuries cut short Tait’s career, he was popular for bowling with sheer pace on good lengths, rattling the batters with his yorkers and length balls. Having played 21 games for RR, the right-arm seamer claimed 23 wickets at a decent economy rate of 81.12.
