WPL 2024 Purple Cap Winner
The second season of WPL or Women’s Premier League just completed. Royal Challengers Bangalore broke their trophy jinx in the event and lifted their maiden silverware by beating Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets at the famous Arun Jaitley Stadium on 17th March.

This year the Purple Cup award witnessed the tussle among the top bowlers around the world. RCB’s young sensation Shreyanka Patil claimed the most wickets in WPL 2024 with 13 wickets in 8 matches at a freaking average of 12.08. Patil was outstanding in the eliminator, returning with the figures of 2/16 in her four overs. However, her remarkable bowling display emerged against Delhi Capitals in the finals in Delhi, 4/12 in four overs. The Karnataka left-arm bowler delivers wicket-to-wicket and can alter the pace and loop to trap the batters.
