In 2014, Singh moved to Royal Challengers Bangalore after becoming the costliest buy in the auction (INR 14 cr). His outing for the franchise was as rocking as the auction as he notched up 376 runs in 14 games, his most in a single edition, and took 5 wickets.

Yuvraj became the most expensive player for the successive season in 2015, this time his price soared as high as INR 16 cr and, SRH picked him. However, his stint with SRH was moderate, scoring only 248 runs and taking 1 wicket in 14 games. In 2016, SRH again drafted him into the squad in the auction for INR 7 cr.
