MS Dhoni’s Captaincy Record In IPL

MS Dhoni is probably the most successful captain in the Indian Premier League history. He started his journey as a leader in the inaugural season of IPL in 2008 and took his team to the finals. MS tasted his first success as a leader in 2010 when Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians at the DY Patil Stadium to lift their maiden IPL title. The pride of Jharkhand carried on the same form in the next season too and CSK became the first team to win consecutive titles in 2011.

MS went on to bag another two titles for the Men in Yellow in 2021 and 2023,

In the last 16 seasons, the Dhoni-led team has qualified for the playoffs 12 times and played nine finals.
