      MS Dhoni’s Highest Score In ODI

      Former Indian World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni retired from International cricket in August 2020. He played his last ODI game against New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup. Dhoni’s highest score in the ODI was a scintillating 183 off 143 balls in Jaipur during an ODI game against Sri Lanka. India was chasing 299 runs and MS came to bat when India was struggling at 99/2 in 14.5 overs, from there he hit 15 boundaries and 10 sixes en route to his explosive knock and helped India win the game by six wickets. Dhoni’s 183* is the highest score by a wicket-keeper in ODIs.

      The Ranchi boy made his ODI debut in 2004 against Bangaldesh in Dhaka. From there, the hard hitter played 350 games and scored 10773 runs at a staggering average of 50.57. Dhoni did not only bat aggressively but won India many games single-handedly when wickets were falling from the other end. He possessed the ability to win matches under pressure situations with genius strokeplay and anchoring the innings with singles and doubles.
