Most ICC Titles Won By An Indian

India recently clinched their second Champions Trophy title by defeating New Zealand in the final of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Stadium. With this victory, Indian veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma each secured their fourth ICC title, setting a new record for the most ICC trophies won by an Indian player. They surpassed former captain MS Dhoni, who led India to three ICC triumphs: the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy.

Virat Kohli’s ICC journey began with the 2011 World Cup victory against Sri Lanka in Mumbai. He then played a pivotal role in the 2013 Champions Trophy win, finishing as India’s highest run-getter in the final against England. After an 11-year drought, Kohli added to his collection by lifting the 2024 T20 World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy under Rohit Sharma’s leadership.

Rohit Sharma’s ICC achievements started with the 2007 T20 World Cup, where he was part of the victorious Indian team at the age of 20. He went on to win the 2013 Champions Trophy alongside Kohli under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. As a leader, Rohit guided India to triumphs in the 2024 T20 World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy, cementing his legacy as one of India’s most successful captains.

Ravindra Jadeja now stands alongside MS Dhoni with three ICC titles to his name. His ICC journey began with the 2013 Champions Trophy, and he later added the 2024 T20 World Cup and 2025 Champions Trophy to his accolades, playing a crucial role in both tournaments.
