      Ashish Nehra’s Last International Match

      Ashish Nehra is a left-arm fast-medium bowler who made his debut in international cricket against Sri Lanka in the Asian Test Championship in 1999. He then played his maiden ODI game in 2001 against Zimbabwe. The Delhi-born player went on to play 17 tests only with 44 scalps under his belt. Due to injury concerns, Nehra bid adieu to the longest format in 2004. However, he kept fighting for his spot in the national team in limited-overs cricket. In ODIs, he took 157 wickets in 120 games with the best of 6/23 in the 2003 World Cup.
