Dinesh Karthik’s IPL Teams

Dinesh Karthik is one of the best players to feature in the IPL. He started his career as a young sensation at 23 with Delhi Daredevils in 2008 and stayed there till 2010. In 2011, Punjab Kings acquired his services but in 2012, Mumbai Indians bought him in the auction and retained him till 2013. Karthik again moved to Delhi in 2014 but in the next season, he went to Royal Challengers Bangalore.

in 2016 & 2017, the wicket-keeper batter played for now disfucnt Gujarat Lions. Then Kolkata Knight Riders roped him in the squad in 2018 and he represented them for three more years. Karthik spent his last three years in the IPL back in the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp. Overall, he had a stint with six different franchises in the IPL.

In his 17 years of illustrious career from 2008 to 2024, Dinesh Karthik appeared in 257 matches and scored 4842 runs at a commendable strike rate of 135.36 with 22 fifties to his name. He lifted the trophy with Mumbai Indians in 2013 under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.
