India’s top-ranked all-rounder Hardik Pandya shined during their T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up game against Bangladesh in New York. Walking to bat at no 6 in the 15th over, the pinch hitter scored a quickfire 40 off 23 balls, including two fours and four sixes, hitting three maximums in a row off Tanvir Islam in the 17th over. His blitz and Pant’s excellent half-century helped India to post a big total of 182/5 in 20 overs on a tricky wicket.

Later with the ball, Hardik picked up 1/30 in three overs. It was a massive turnaround for India’s vice-captain after his terrible performance in the IPL 2024 and suffering from deep family issues.
