Ajinkya Rahane who represented India from 2011 to 2023, was in pristine touch in the 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and scored 432 runs in 7 innings, the most by any batter, including five fifties with the highest score of 98 off 56 against Baroda in the semi-finals.

Rajat Patidar has impressed everyone with his batting exploits in the domestic circuit over the last few years. His domination with the bat has overshadowed others in the 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy too where he has amassed 355 runs in nine innings with the help of four half-centuries. The batter who was recently retained by RCB for a whopping INR 11 cr smashed an unbeaten 66 off only 29 balls to help Madhya Pradesh beat Delhi in the semi-finals to enter the finals.

Bihar’s promising youngster Sakibul Gani ranks third on this elite list of most runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024. Having played seven games, he made 353 runs at a decent strike rate of 142.33. He even scored a blistering 120* against Mizoram in the prestigious tournament.
