Most Sixes In A Test Series
The India vs England 2024 test series was one of the best series in the last 5-6 years in India. England gave shoulder-to-shoulder competition to India with their new playing style “Bazball”. The intent in England’s batting was extremely aggressive and they dealt sixes whenever they got an opportunity and even created some by not restricting the good balls. On the other side, India too showed an all-new approach by playing an attacking game with the bat with their young guns like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Srafaraz Khan.
India and England have collectively hit 102 maximums in 5 games (the most sixes in a series) where India smashed 72 sixes and England smacked only 30. The Man of the Series Yashasvi Jaiswal alone hit 26 sixes and scored 712 runs. For England, Zak Crawley creamed the most sixes (6). This is the first time in test cricket history that 100 sixes were hit in a bilateral test series
