Rohit Sharma’s Runs In IPL 2024
The six-time IPL champion Rohit Sharma had a decent performance in the IPL 2024. For the first time since 2013, Rohit Sharma did not captain the Mumbai Indians in the event. Representing the franchise as a player, the Mumbai batter scored 417 runs in all 14 games at a staggering strike rate of 150.00. He hit 1 hundred and 1 fifty in the season but often gave his team a flier start with his attacking batting. His highest score was an unbeaten 105* off 63 balls against Chennai Super Kings in Mumbai but it went in vain as CSK defended their total of 206 runs successfully. He also smashed 23 sixes and 45 fours in the IPL 2024.
Rohit’s 417 runs this edition is his highest in an edition since 2016 where he made 489 runs in 14 matches. In the last group game against Lucknow Supergiants in 2024, Sharma scored a rampage 28-ball fifty while chasing 215 for Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium.
