Teams With Most Final Appearances In T20 World Cup

Asian heavyweights Sri Lanka has made the most final appearances in the T20 World Cup. They were the first team to play three finals in the event in 2009, 2012, and 2014 apiece, while lifting the trophy in their last final against India.

Pakistan has appeared in the finals the same number of times as Lanka. The Green Army played in the finals of the T20 World Cup in 2007, 2009, and 2022. In 2009, Pakistan became the second team to win the mega event.

The champions of the 2022 T20 World Cup, England also has the joint most final appearances in the T20 World Cup, having qualified in the finals in 2010, 2016, and 2022. Their attacking approach in the format has aided them abundantly.
