Former Indian premier all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has scored the most runs in an over in the T20 World Cup. In a group game against England in the 2007 edition, the Southpaw hit six consecutive sixes in an over off Stuart Broad and became the first batsman to do so in the event.

During a league match of T20 WC 2012 against Afghanistan, English batting duo Jonny Bairstow and Luke Wright hammered Izatullah Dawlatzai for a massive 32 runs in an over, making it the 2nd most runs in an over in the T20 World Cup.

Ace Aussie pinch-hitter Glenn Maxwell annihilated Pakistani seamer Bilawal Bhatti in a pool stage game in the 2014 installment. He scored 30 runs off his over which is 3rd most runs in an over in the T20 World Cup history.
