      Ace Indian seamer Mohammed Shami leads the chart of most five-wicket hauls for India in ODIs. Making his debut in 2013 against Pakistan, he has played 97 games in the blue jersey and scalped 185 wickets with the help of 6 fifers and two of them came in the World Cup itself.

      Javagal Srinath

      Javagal Srinath who represented India between 1991 to 2003, bagged the 2nd most 5 wicket hauls for India breaching the mark thrice in his career. The Karnataka right-arm fast bowler took 315 wickets in 229 games at a decent average of 28.08. Further, he is the joint-highest wicket-taker for the Men in Blue in the World Cup with 44 wickets.

      Harbhajan Singh

      Among spinners, veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh grabbed a five-wicket haul in ODIs three times in 234 matches for India. His excellent off-spin and doosra at times bamboozled the batsmen often. His 50-over journey ended with 265 scalps, maintaining a misery economy of 4.30.

      Apart from them, Anil Kumble, irfan Patha, and Ajit Agarkar had 2 fifers apeice in the One Day International.
