Shami Became Highest Wicket Taker For India in ODI World Cup 2023
Indian speedster Mohammed Shami became the highest wickets taker for India in the ODI World Cup with 45 scalps in 14 matches in his journey of 3 editions since 2015.
The Up-born pacer surpassed bowing great Zaheer Khan who had 44 wickets in 23 games to his name in the marquee event. Shami ran through the Sri Lankan batting line up with his sensational 5/18 in Mumbai in India’s 7th group game on Thursday. November 2nd to pack Lanka for an emabarrsing 55 runs while defending 358. It was his 2nd fifer in the quadrennial competition.
