Most Golds In Olympics for Ukraine
Yana Klochkova is a former ace swimmer who retired at the age of 26 and holds the record for the most Gold medals for Ukraine in the Olympics. She bagged two Golds in 2000 in Sydney and as many in the 2004 edition in Athens. Her accolades came in the 200 and 400-meter medley events.
Former artistic gymnast Lilia Podkopayeva got second place on this elite list. In the 1996 edition in Atlanta, the 46-year-old bagged two Gold medals in the all-around and flooring exercise. She accumulated a Silver in the Balance Beam too.
Vasyl Lomachenko, a professional boxer, became the first male from Ukraine to win two Gold medals in the Olympics in 2012. He won his first medal in Beijing in 2008 in the featherweight category and the second Gold appeared in 2012 in London in the lightweight division.
