Marking his first appearance in the 2nd T20 of India tour of Zimbabwe in 2016, Sran ran through the hosts’ top order and registered a figure of 4/10 in his spell of four overs, aiding the visitors to restrict them to 99/9 in 20 overs in Harare. For his stunning performance with the ball, he was adjudged the Man of the Match on his first day in the office.

Sran only played two T20 games for India and then never got the opportunity to represent India in the shortest format. In 2 games, he picked up 6 wickets at a staggering strike rate of 8.00.
