Travis Head equaled the record for the fastest T20 fifty for Australia with Marcus Stoinis when Australia met Scotland in the first T20 in Edinburg in 2024. The Southpaw took the hosts’ bowlers to the cleaners and reached the halfway mark in just 17 balls, scoring 80 runs off 25 balls at a staggering strike rate of 320.
Marcus Stoinis scored the fastest fifty for Australia in T20Is during a group game of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Perth. Chasing 158 runs, the all-rounder whacked a 17-ball fifty en route to his unbeaten 59 off 18 balls with the help of six 6s and four 4s. Then, the hosts won the game by seven wickets.
Glenn Maxwell had to be on this exclusive list for his versatile strokeplay. In a T20I game against Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2016, the flamboyant batter raced to the 50-run score in just 18 balls, opening the batting for Australia. He went back to the pavilion after scoring a raging 66 off 29 balls eventually.
