Ravindra Jadeja is the 2nd Indian spinner to take World Cup fifer
Ravindra Jadeja took 5 wickets of 33 runs in 9 over spell against South Africa in ODI World Cup 2023 in Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 5th Nov.
Jadeja now has the second-most wickets among Indian spinners in the World Cup (25 wickets at 26.96). He broke a tie with Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj (20 each), Jadeja is now only behind Kumble, who owns 31 World Cup wickets.
Yuvraj Singh is the 1st Indian spinner to take World Cup fifer
Yuvraj picked 5/31 in 10 overs against Ireland at M. Chinnswamy in Bengaluru in the 2011 World Cup.
He also registered his best ODI figures of five for 33 and picked second ODI fifer, improving on the previous best five for 36 against West Indies in 2013.
