Jacques Kallis’s Highest Score In IPL

Former South African player Jacques Kallis is probably the best all-rounder to ever grace the game. His highest score in the IPL was an unbeaten 89 off 55 balls against Kings Xi Punjab in the 7th game of IPL 2010 in Bengaluru. Royal Challengers Bengaluru was hosting the now-renamed Punjab Kings and they set a commendable target of 204 runs in 20 overs. In reply. Kallis came to bat along with Manish Pandey and made a scintillating fifty-plus score with the help of eight 4s and five 6s, propelling the hosts to win the game by 8 wickets and 7 balls to spare.

For his valiant knock, Kallis was given the Man of the Match award.

Kallis played the first three years for RCB and the next four years for Kolkata Knight Riders. With KKR, he won two trophies in 2012 and 2014 respectively. He was as impressive in the IPL as in the international arena for his excellence with bat and ball.
