KKR Released Players 2024
Kolkata Knight Riders prepared themselves for the 2024 IPL auction which is scheduled to start on 19th December in Dubai.
The Kolkata-based franchise parted ways with 12 players and 6 out of them are foreign nationals. Shakib Al Hasan, Lockie Ferguson, and Shardul Thakur are the big names among released players. They also released Kiwi pacer Tim Southee, Bangladeshi opener Liton Das, Windies batter Johnson Charles, and Namibian all-rounder David Wiese.
it’s shocking to see Indian veterans Umesh Yadav, Mandeep Singh, and Narayan Jagdesshan who is a proven campaigner in the domestic circuit be separated from the franchise.
KKR will be looking to buy a few quality and experienced fast bowlers in the forthcoming auction while it will be interesting to see who comes in place of Shakib Al Hasan.
