      One of the forgotten faces in the IPL, Haryana wicket-keeper batsman Manvinder Bisla’s highest score in the IPL came on a special occasion of the IPL 2012 final between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings. Representing the KKR franchise and chasing 191 runs target, the opener produced a gritty knock of 89 runs in 48 balls at a staggering strike rate of 185.41 against a quality bowling lineup consisting of Dwayne Bravo, Albie Morkel, and Ravichandran Ashwin. He smashed eight fours and five sixes to help KKR go past the score by five wickets and two balls to spare in Chennai. Bisla was bestowed with the Man of the Match award for his superb innings.
