      Mumbai Indians IPL 2025 Squad

The five-time IPL champions who last lifted the coveted trophy in 2020 in Dubai are again all set to challenge the other nine teams to clinch their trophy number six in the upcoming IPL 2025 season with the blend of experienced and exciting young players. Initially, the MI management secured their core group consisting of Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Titak Varma for INR 75 cr. Then during the two-day mega auction conducted on the 24th and 25th of November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, they strategically built their team with smart moves, spending the big money on the right players and discreetly bagging uncapped players.

Their most noteworthy buy was the re-inclusion of Kiwi ace Trent Boult for INR 12.50 cr who played a pivotal role in their winning campaign 2020. Along with him, they chipped in Indian swing bowler Deepak Chahar for INR 9.25 cr to strengthen their pace attack.

The addition of Afghan young sensation Allah Ghazanfar and Naman Dhir by RTM who impressed the thinktank with his sheer power-hitting dictates MI’s willingness to welcome talents to groom and shape them for the future. To fill the gap of slog over batting, the Blue and Gold purchased power-hitter Will Jack for INR 5.25 cr while signing expert Kiwi spinner Mitchell Santner to further increase the depth in their bowling department.

MI has also included 22-year-old talented Jharkhand wicket-keeper batter Robin Minz for INR 65 lacs to their setup who was bought by Gujarat Titans in 2024, however, he missed the edition due to an injury.
