Namibian all-rounder Nicol Loftie-Eaton smashed the fastest T20I hundred off just 33 balls against Nepal in Kiripur in the Ongoing 2024 T20 Tri-series, breaking Kushal Malla’s 34-ball and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s 35-ball century’s record.
Coming to bat at No 5, the 22-year-old batsman hit eight soaring 6s and eleven 4s en route to an entertaining 101 off 36 balls, enabling Namibia to amass 206/4 runs in their allocated 20 overs. Later with the ball, the right-arm leggie took 2 wickets too. The consolidated bowling effort from the visitors left the hosts 20 runs short of their target and aided in winning the game by 20 runs. His all-round show rewarded him with the Man of the Match award.
