Rajat Patidar Made His International Debut
Sensational middle-order batsman, Rajat Patidar made his international cricket debut on Thursday in the 3rd ODI of India’s tour of South Africa 2023 at Paarl. Patidar became the 255th player to play One India cricket for India.
Rajat’s debut scenario came into talk after India’s first-choice opener Ruturaj Gaikwad failed to recover in time from an injury. In his first international innings, he was asked to open the innings and the RCB batter scored a quickfire 22 off 16 deliveries before getting castled by Nandre Burger.
The classy batter caught everyone’s attention when he hit a sensational hundred in the elimination of the 2021 IPL against Lucknow Supergiants. He missed the entire IPL 2023 due to injury and however came back strongly in Ranji and Vijay Hazare trophy with a pile of runs.
