      Sachin Tendulkar Test Runs

       

      Ace Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar made his test debut in 1989 at the age of 16 in Karachi and he could only manage to score 15 runs before being bowled by Waqar Younis. The Mumbai batsman played his last test which was his number 200th against West Indies in Mumbai, scoring 74 runs in his last innings.

      In his glorious career of 24 years between 1989 and 2013, the right-hand classy batter amassed 15921 runs at a staggering average of 53.78, including 68 fifties and 51 centuries, the most by any batsman in the format. His best score of 248* in the test came against Bangaldesh in 2004 in Dhaka.

      Tendulkar loved playing test cricket against the mighty Austrians. He made 3630 runs in 39 games, averaging an impressive 55.00 against them, his highest against a team in tests. His eleven out of fifty one hundreds also emerged against the Men in Yellow.
